DIY ENTRY #21 Halloween Sugar Cookies

Do you remember these cookies from my Halloween party? They were beautiful! And now you can make your very own!! Thank you Ann Roe for sharing!

Halloween Sugar Cookies
1 1⁄2 C butter (soft) 2 C sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp vanilla ext. 5 C flour 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and chill for one hour (or more.) On floured surface, roll and cut with your favorite cookie cutters. Bake 6-‐8 minutes in 400 degree oven.
Icing: 1 C confect. sugar 2 tsp milk * 2 tsp light corn syrup (*I always need more! )
Use icing coloring (Wilton) or food coloring to color the icing before painting your cookies. Add sprinkles or candies for extra details.
**I have found that a small pointed paint brush works best for this cookie painting project.
