Such an easy project and it was really fun! I found some t-shirts that the girls had ruined via marker and paint. I went into my scraps of fabric and found some I thought was cute. I ripped the fabric the length of the fabric. I than sewed down the middle of the fabric on a loose tension. I pulled one thread to bunch the fabric. After it was bunched I sewed it on to the t-shirt and in ten minutes with absolutely no cost I had two t-shirts that my girls now love. I can't wait to make one for myself.
Can you spot the marker on the t-shirts before the make over?
Can you post a pic of the girls in them, I have seen this on a few blogs, but I can't decide if I like it, and because of the basement being remodeled, I am too overwhelmed to try it. Also.. got my package, your generosity amazes and overwhelms me. Thank you for that!!!
ReplyDeleteand no... I can't spot the marker on the shirt, at my house this shirt would still be considered okay to handdown.
